Surface crochet is a great way to “draw” on your knit or crochet projects - like adding names to a handmade stocking! And I’ve made a video to teach you how.

I must make something to try this on!!

Two more headbands I made this weekend, probably for Christmas presents.

The really fast and easy headband/earwarmer I made last night! I used three strands of yarn—one super bulky, and two medium worsted. I love it! This one is mine.

Yet another hat I made, this one for another guy. Only took me a couple of hours to do this one!

My Christmas tree! With a little crocheted star on top!

Slouchy hat for yet another of my sisters. And just FYI, the foam head is smaller than the average head, so it will be just a little less slouchy when worn by a real person. The pattern is another of bobwilson123’s, called the “Eyelet Beanie.”

htmnise asked: Hi, I learned how to crochet when I was younger, and I recently picked the habit back up. I'm addicted! I'm not that good though, but one day I hope to be as good as you. I love your stuff! :)

Thank you so much! I haven’t been crocheting all that long myself—I just learned a couple of months ago. I’m hopelessly addicted to it, as well. Just keep working at it, and you’ll get better at it before you know it!

The fingerless gloves and matching hat that I made today. I think these will be for my brother’s gf. The hat is a bit small for me, but she is smaller than me, so I’m hoping the hat will fit.

The hat I finished for my brother! I did it in just one evening! I’m getting quick! xD

The cowl I finished tonight. ^.^ I think this one might be for my mom. Haven’t quite decided yet. Pattern by bobwilson123. (Tutorial found on YouTube.)
